Our award-winning Core air purifier is capable of cleaning up to 600m3 of air per hour, using a combination of HEPA & VOC filtration and UVC light.

The Core air purifier draws in dirty air from above and around the circumference of the unit, sucking in at 360 degrees, which reduces the importance of where the unit is placed.

Outflowing clean air is distributed evenly at 360 degrees in a uniform, outward ‘radial jet’ motion that penetrates the entire room. Toroidal air flow causes particle precipitation in a room.

The efficiency of the Rensair Core air purifier is independently validated by world renowned scientific laboratories, removing risk as well as cleaning polluted air.

How it works


The Rensair air purifier sucks in the surrounding air from the top inlet perforations. Air travels through the removable pre-filters placed at the top of the machine, which catch and trap larger airborne particles and dust.

2. FAN

A powerful fan pushes the pre-filtered air down into the cylindrical shaped H13 HEPA filter located in the middle of the unit. The fan creates high static air pressure in the cylinder, which is necessary to allow sufficient air to flow through the high quality H13 HEPA filter and to boost air cleaning capacity.


As air hits the H13 HEPA filter, bacteria, viruses and smaller airborne particles and pollutants become trapped on its inner surface and held in place. The upgraded chemically engineered carbon filter traps the dangerous gases.


An 18w UVC lamp placed in the centre of the cylindrical drum continuously illuminates the entire filtration area. The UVC light breaks down the DNA and RNA of pathogens and thereby inactivates them. This continuous disinfection process ensures that the Rensair air purifier is always safe to operate and maintain.


Large volumes of clean air travel out of the unit via the lower perforations. The cylindrical shape of the Rensair air purifier allows air to flow out in every direction, enabling effective air circulation suitable for almost all locations.



Rensair has developed a new filter for its Air Purification units that has 2 components:

•The existing H13 HEPA filter that removes Particulate Matter, including fine particles.

•An upgraded chemically engineered carbon filter that traps dangerous gases

Advanced Sensing Capabilities

Real-time Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) data is generated by Rensair devices which have built-in sensors. The data is presented on a web based platform or can be transmitted to a client. The IAQ parameters measured are PM1, PM2.5, PM10, CO2, TVOC. Temperature and relative humidity are also gauged.

Rensair uses high quality sensors which are constantly recalibrated to obtain accurate readings. This accuracy is underpinned by having the air sensors incorporated into the air purification unit itself, which is preferable to a wall mounted sensor. See attached simple trial that highlights the importance of the location of an air sensor to ensure accurate IAQ readings.

The Rensair air purifier will run for 9000 hours (~1 year) before the HEPA 13 filter and UVC lamp need to be replaced. A service indicator on the air purifier’s display panel will automatically alert when the parts need to be replaced.

BMS integration

BMSs will be able to optimise air quality in building, informed by IAQ monitors, taking into account:

  • Occupancy levels in rooms using measured air
  • Energy consumption by ie. comparing relative temperature between indoor and outdoor
  • Efficient purification ie. high relative outdoor particulate matter levels for open-air system

The Rensair Core 600i will be able to integrate with BMS using :

  • Wireless communication – using a cloud-to-cloud platform integration to the system (if applicable)
  • Wired communication – using a gateway connector that will forward the data from the platform to the system
