Rensair’s patented clean air technology was designed over 20 years ago for infection prevention in hospitals and is proven in the most challenging of healthcare environments.
Indoor Air Quality solutions are now provided for all types of real estate buildings, including offices and educational establishments, leveraging Rensair’s healthcare experience and expertise.
Rensair designs and develops air quality solutions to meet specialised standards for hospital and healthcare settings (eg Log3 clearance, post AGP particle reduction). Rensair devices allow for shorter fallow times between appointments and higher patient capacity, whilst deployment in assisted living centres have reduced airborne transmitted diseases amongst residents.
Smart Rensair Demand Controlled Ventilation (SDCV) can work in conjunction with an existing HVAC system. By optimising mechanical ventilation with air purification and ventilating according to a building’s occupancy, Rensair’s SDCV can reduce a building’s energy consumption and carbon footprint by more than 40%.
Rensair’s easy-to-fit air purifiers can deliver a clean air environment inside a vehicle. Exhaust fumes and air pollution take a toll on the health of vehicle occupants. Using ground-breaking, triple action technology, Rensair provides a non-stop shield for drivers and passengers against pollution and pathogens.
The UK National Health Service tested Rensair’s bio-efficiency using the Liverpool Bio Validation Protocol, confirming its ability to achieve a 99.9% (Log 3) particle reduction in 34.2 seconds. CFD modelling in an NHS dental suite demonstrated post-AGP Log2 particle reduction in under 2 and a half minutes, independent of where the unit was placed in the room. Rensair air purifiers are used broadly throughout the healthcare sector, including:
Primary Care: general practitioners and dental surgeries
Hospitals: especially in
Care homes, hospices and assisted living facilities
OCS, a global Facilities Management company, installed a Rensair indoor air quality solution in their poorly ventilated building when they increased office capacity from 5% to 100%. Rensair calculated an air purification solution for their offices that would achieve CIBSE and WHO IAQ guidelines using Rensair Core units.
The data demonstrated that when the Rensair devices were installed and operated as the occupancy levels rose to 100%, Particulate Matter readings of PM1 and PM2.5 dropped to less than 1mg/m3 and then remained at negligible levels.
Rensair has installed a Core air purifier in high occupancy, poorly ventilated classrooms (30 students + 1 teacher), together with high quality air sensors. Rensair air purification devices are delivering a third of the WHO guidelines in the classrooms due to limited budgets.
Given the poor ventilation and high occupancy, the sensors registered negligible Particulate Matter throughout the air testing period, even when background Particulate Matter rose above safety guidelines. The noise generated by the air purifiers was significantly lower than the noise recorded in the room.
Public sector departments own a large variety of poorly ventilated indoor spaces that are occupied by staff fulfilling important functions. Rensair lends its experience in dealing across many different industry verticals, providing good Indoor Air Quality environments that allow full use of all buildings. All solutions are tailor made, meeting health and building guidelines.
Rensair provides very cost effective solutions that are simple to implement and maintain. Furthermore, not only do occupants reap the health benefits of good indoor air quality, but significant energy efficiency gains can be obtained. This results in important reductions of carbon footprints, helping the public sector in achieving its net zero targets.
Delos tested the performance of Rensair’s AirBubbl air purifiers in reducing vehicle in-cabin pollution. The results showed a 59% and 54% reduction in Particulate Matter in simulations of light and dense traffic conditions respectively. The Rensair AirBubbl is used by taxis, bus companies and ambulance services to protect drivers and their passengers from air pollution.
